With a deep insight into the significance and importance of laying a solid legal foundation in stepping up the building of a prosperous and powerful country in the new century of Juche, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un saw to it that the Socialist Constitution of the DPRK was renamed Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Constitution, and established a new state machinery with the State Affairs Commission as its pivot, thus laying a lasting foundation for the eternal prosperity of Juche Korea.

He performed undying exploits for the cause of building a powerful country by clearly indicating the theoretical and practical issues arising in the establishment of Juche-based law and wisely leading the state power organs to steadily enhance their power, legal function and role and thus consolidating the social system of Korean-style socialist state.

Today the rapid development of the DPRK aspiring after mightiness, progress and modernity is being successfully promoted, supported by a strong legal guarantee. Our leader-first principle and our state-first principle have developed into all-people thoughts and feelings.

In order to build a staunch and reliable step for success in all fields of state and social life and pave a broader avenue for leaps forward, it is necessary to invariably hold fast to the Socialist Constitution as a powerful weapon and legally guarantee the building of a powerful country.
