Its construction has laid another material and technical foundation for substantially contributing to the economic development of the province and the improvement of the people's living standard by putting the quality analysis on a more scientific basis.

The inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on December 28.

Present there were Kim Myong Guk, secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the province, working people, builders and employees of the institute.

Ri Song Ho, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, made an inauguration address.
