New Houses Built at Chusang Farm in South Hamgyong Province of DPRK
Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- Socialist cultural villages in the DPRK are face-lifting their looks under the loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). New villages were built at the Chusang Farm in Hamju County, South Hamgyong Province.

The new villages with single- and low-storied and terraced dwelling houses convenient for the living of agricultural workers are preserving well the characteristics of the relevant area. They are an epitome showing the development of the countryside which has been changed and civilized day by day.

A meeting for moving into new dwelling houses took place on the spot on Thursday.

Present there were Choe Hung Jo, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of the Party and power organs in Hamju County and agricultural workers.

Kim Se Il, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory speech. Then licenses for the use of the houses were given and speeches were made there.

Amid the cheerful dancing, the moving into new houses began, livening up the villages with joy and excitement.

Officials visited the owners of the new houses and shared joy with them.
