The library has conditions for IT service, symposiums and various exhibitions, including multi-functional halls.

The inauguration ceremony took place on December 29.

Present there were Jang Ki Chol, secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, builders, employees of the library, and working people and youth and students in Phyongsong City.

Pak Chol Ho, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, made an inaugural address.
