It was reported that Israel recently launched a missile attack on the outskirts of Damascus in Syria to kill a military advisor of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps of Iran.

If the U.S. has a single criterion for defining terrorism, it should have labeled Israel's such illegal atrocity as terrorism.

But the U.S. feigns ignorance.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Saturday says that the U.S. is the root cause of all misfortunes and evils as it has employed such double standards that any attack on it and its lackeys is terrorism but any strike on those incurring its displeasure and rivals is not terrorism but a just act.

The U.S. persistently connives at and shields Israel's terrorist acts. When the Mideast crisis broke out, the U.S. dispatched a large number of troops to the Middle East and is going to commit new state-sponsored terrorism against Iran and other "thorns in the flesh".

The situation in the Middle East has been pushed to the worst phase by Israel's action that broke Iran's patience.
