Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant Starts First Production in New Year

| Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant of the DPRK made a stride of advance in the new year, true to the important tasks set forth at the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. Officials of the power plant explained the idea and spirit of the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee to the masses on the spot through frontline-style political work and solved problems arising in production. The motivation for increased production of the information squad for intensive lecture in different districts and aid by the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport and the Ponghwa Trade Bureau, etc. redoubled the revolutionary enthusiasm of power producers.
