Innovations in Cement Production at Sangwon Cement Complex in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 3 (KCNA) -- A train carrying thousands of tons of cement left for the major sites of socialist construction on the first and second day of new year by the efforts of the workers of the Sangwon Cement Complex, who turned out in the drive for implementing the important tasks set forth at the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The workers and technicians of the complex are making collective innovations in production while giving priority to management of equipment and technical control and actively applying rational working methods.

The Sangwon Limestone Mine, the Samchong Mine and the Hwachon Coal Mine recorded high production result while increasing the actual operation rate of mining and coal cutting equipment and vehicles.

Officials and workers of the Sangwon Cement Complex are putting spurs to production with a high enthusiasm to uphold the resolutions of the Party plenary meeting with bold practice and proud fruition.
