Metal Industry and Agricultural Sector Supported in N. Hamgyong Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, January 4 (KCNA) -- True to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) to steadily put forward the 12 major goals of key importance in developing the economy and improving the people's living standard and direct efforts to attaining them in the new year, too, North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK is rendering its active support to the metal industry and the agricultural sector.

The province has vigorously conducted organizational and political work for bringing into full play the revolutionary zeal of the masses out in the implementation of the resolutions of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the WPK.

Officials and working people in the province sent hundreds of tons of scrap iron to iron-making bases on January 2.

Many units in the province have sent large quantities of manure to farms from the outset of the new year.

Officials of the Party and power organs are taking the lead in this campaign while learning in detail about the securement of manure and transport organization.
