On Jan. 4, hundreds of tons of scrap iron collected by institutions, districts and counties in the municipality were transported to metal factories seething with the campaign for increased iron and steel production.

Officials and working people in the municipality also provided aid materials with sincerity.

Encouraged by such assistance, workers at the metal factories including the Chollima Steel Complex are putting spurs to the increased steel production to implement the resolutions of the December Plenary Meeting.
