Officials of the Agricultural Commission and agricultural guidance organs at all levels have deeply studied the idea and spirit of the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee before discussing the issues of carrying out this year's tasks.

In view of the experience and lessons drawn from last year's farming, they are taking economic and practical measures for scrupulously organizing the work, intensifying guidance and solving knotty problems to unconditionally attain this year's goal for grain production set by the Party.

They have conducted a detailed organizational work to make full preparations for farming including securing farming materials and seeds, improving soil fertility, repairing farm machines and implements and realigning fields at farms across the country.
