Positive Aid to Metal Industry

| Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, have turned out in a campaign for assisting the metal industry to implement the resolutions of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. The city worked out a plan to help the steel front and conducted a socialist emulation among all districts, counties and units while taking a foresighted measure for transport. Officials and working people are collecting a large quantity of scrap iron. Hundreds of tons of scrap iron collected by them were transported to the Chollima Steel Complex on January 12. |
