It is only the U.S. that has engaged itself in high-handed and arbitrary practices, violating international law so rudely, says Rodong Sinmun Sunday in a commentary, and goes on:

The arrogance of not binding itself by anything to dominate the world and satisfy its greed is a disposition peculiar to the U.S.

The U.S. has been gradually escalating the tensions in the Asia-Pacific region after advancing the aggressive Indo-Pacific strategy.

It is a gangster-like logic of the U.S. that all such criminal moves are aimed to "abide by international law".

It is by no means fortuitous that the international community contends that it is a consistent hegemonic act of the U.S. to use international law if it is in its interests or discard it unless it is, and that this shows the hegemonic position of it asserting that high-handed practice precisely means an "accepted law".

The U.S. trumpeting about "observance of international law" does not shed perfume of peace, but gives out a scent of powder for hegemony to hang over the Asia-Pacific region.
