President Kim Il Sung visited the Secret Camp area of Mt Paektu in July Juche 68 (1979) and other several times to clearly indicate the orientation and ways for turning the area into a grand open-air museum for education in revolutionary traditions.

Chairman Kim Jong Il paved the way for the study tour of revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu to successfully carry forward and develop the revolutionary traditions of the Workers' Party of Korea generation after generation and showed the great loving care and benevolence to be handed down through generations to the lecturers and employees of the management office.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave field guidance to the revolutionary battle sites in the Mt Paektu area and Samjiyon City in December 2019 and November 2021, setting forth the tasks for raising another strong wind in the work to arm all the people with the revolutionary spirit through the study tour and for preserving forever and comprehensively applying the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu.

A meeting took place on the spot on January 15 to mark the 50th founding anniversary of the management office.

Present there were Ri Song Il, secretary of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and officials, lecturers and employees of the management office.
