Coal Production Plan Overfulfilled in Northern Part of DPRK

| Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- Workers of various coal mining complexes in the northern part of the country have overfulfilled their daily quotas in hearty response to the idea and spirit of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. The Jungbong Coal Mine under the Onsong Area Coal Mining Complex has increased the production by 1.2 times and 1.5 times to the maximum every day as compared with the same period of December last year. The Hakpho and Kangan coal mines have carried out their daily production quotas at over 105 percent. The similar successes are witnessed at the Soksong Coal Mine under the Myongchon Area Coal Mining Complex and the Kyongwon Area Coal Mining Complex. |
