Kelp Transplanting Brisk in West Coastal Area

Pyongyang, January 19 (KCNA) -- Officials and employees of offshore farms in the west coastal area of the DPRK, out in the implementation of the resolutions of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, are making successes in the transplanting of kelp.

The Pupho Offshore Farm has made collective innovations from the outset of the year to transplant more kelp seedlings than planned every day.

The Kumipo Offshore Farm over-fulfilled its kelp-transplanting plan by 200 percent in a day alone while taking good care of the culture farm.

Other offshore farms across the country, too, are making innovations to achieve fresh successes in the seaweed production.
