Rolled Steel Production Increases

Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- All the workers at the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex in the DPRK turned out in the drive to implement the resolutions of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

They have registered high results in the production of rolled steel from the beginning of the new year.

They are now operating the oxygen heat blast furnaces, fluid-bed gas generator and high-temperature air-combustion heating furnace at full capacity.

Thanks to their devoted efforts and high enthusiasm, the production of rolled steel is going up with the passage of time.
