Under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who is ushering in a new heyday of Juche-oriented education, the climate of valuing education has been established throughout society and foundations for developing the country's education laid, along with revolutionary changes in educational work.

Last year, the educational sector pushed ahead at the full-scale stage with the work to transform the overall educational structure so that schoolchildren can receive more advanced and practical education, and brought about lots of fresh and innovative quality changes in the contents, forms and methods of education.
