The factory has a modern inspection system in every process, ranging from the delivery of raw materials to the packing of products, and its production and management are optimized and quality control put on a scientific basis. Therefore, the production of medicines at the factory has grown thrice the previous one.

The factory is a monument to the love for the people established under the warm benevolence of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who spares nothing for the people's lives and promotion of their health.

One day in January Juche 107 (2018), he visited the factory despite the biting cold and went round various parts of it for a long time.

He learned about whether the production process and hygienic environment met international standards as well as the varieties and quality of produced medicines, and stressed the need to make customer-friendly trademark designs.

He highly appreciated the officials and employees for their efforts to modernize the factory and indicated a higher goal for its updating.

He said that the updating of the factory is not merely a matter of business for increasing the production of medicines but an important, sacred and worthwhile struggle to protect and promote the lives and health of the people and make the people feel the advantages of the socialist healthcare system and the Workers' Party of Korea's public health policy in actuality, rather than in literary pieces.

Afterwards, he paid deep attention to the updating of the factory and led it meticulously.

Thanks to his initiative and energetic leadership, a comprehensive pharmaceutical production base, whose production processes and environment meet the international standards, was built to make sure that the Korean people enjoy more benefits of the socialist healthcare system.
