Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says that this is a political event unprecedented in the nearly 80 year-long history of the WPK and the 70-odd-year history of the DPRK and a great revolution in width and depth of its implementation and its significance of renovation.

The start of new revolution for regional development is a great manifestation of the courageous practical ability of the WPK, which chooses without hesitation and successfully carries out any huge task, the editorial says, and goes on:

It is the steadfast will and stand of our Party that such gigantic task for epochal changes, which dynamically turns the whole country into an ideal land of the people, can be courageously and successfully carried out only through positive and revolutionary offensive and purposeful struggle.

This time, our Party made a revolutionary decision and worked out a scientific strategy, correct methodology and concrete measures in a minuet and bold way and, on this basis, launched a courageous and positive struggle.

We should carry the resolution of the 19th Enlarged Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK into a stark reality and into good results every year through bold action and practice by preserving the tradition and mettle of struggle peculiar to the Korean revolution, which is run through with uninterrupted innovations and advance,

Let us all turn out in the implementation of the resolution of the 19th Enlarged Meeting of the Political Bureau of the 8th Central Committee of the Party with redoubled confidence and courage and proudly record a great new history of regional changes in the DPRK's history of growth and development.

Minju Joson in an article calls on all the people to turn out as one in implementing the Party's new regional industry development policy with faith in rosy future and confidence in victory and thus write an era of another epochal change in the country's history with pride.
