Present there were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and director of its Organization Department, Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pae Jin Gu, vice-chairman and concurrently director general of the General Affairs Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Jo Il Yon, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Song Kun Hak, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently director of its Education Department, So Chung On, vice-chairman and director of the Department for International Affairs and Reunification of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Kang Chu Ryon, vice-chairwoman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently chairwoman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Democratic Women's Union in Japan, Ri Myong Yu, chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon, department directors of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan, chairpersons of the Chongryon Headquarters in the Kanto area, officials of central organizations and affiliates of Chongryon and heads of the schools at all levels.

The national anthem of the DPRK was played.

The New Year message from Kim Jong Un to the chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee was cordially read out at the meeting.

Chairman Ho Jong Man made a report.

The reporter said that Chongryon will organize and conduct the patriotic movement with it as its main work orientation in 2024 to make a substantial change in the struggle for ushering in a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan by regarding the revolutionary idea of Kim Jong Un as faith and embodying it and single-mindedly upholding his revolutionary leadership.

He called upon all the Chongryon officials to display their loyalty to the full to live up to the trust and expectation of Kim Jong Un, further consolidate the single-minded unity of the ranks as firm as a rock and make all efforts to usher in a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan with the devoted service to the compatriots and warm affection between officials and compatriots in the difficult situation.
