Last year the Pyongyang Condiments Factory and the Haeju Condiments Factory established a new production method for improving the taste and quality of wheat paste and a nationwide technical course was given to widely disseminate this method.

More than 10 condiment producing units in Kangwon and Jagang provinces realized the modernization of wheat paste production processes and brought about a remarkable improvement in the quality of products.

Cities and counties in North Hamgyong and North Hwanghae provinces laid foundations for revitalizing the production of wheat paste.
