Thanks to the devoted efforts of the officials and miners of coal mines across the country that have waged a dynamic drive for increased production and creation since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Coal Industry's January plan of national economy was over-fulfilled.

Officials of the Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex conducted intensive motivational work for increased production at pit faces, provided spare parts needed for full operation of the tunneling equipment and did the welfare supply service to raise the enthusiasm of coal miners.

The Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex produced thousands of tons of more coal.

The Tokchon, Anju, Kaechon, Kujang and Kangdong area coal mining complexes introduced cutting methods suited to their specific conditions and increased the operation rate of coal wagons to carry out their daily plans without fail.

Miners of coal mines in the northern part of the country, including Onsong and Myongchon area coal mining complexes, have scored remarkable successes in production through brisk socialist emulation among units.
