Young workers of the Sadong District People's Committee and the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum volunteered to work at the Songnam Youth Coal Mine of the Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex and the Ryongsan Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District.

Young people in Mangyongdae, Central and Rangnang districts, too, volunteered to join the construction brigade in their districts.

Youth and students in the capital city held a meeting at the Central Youth Hall on Feb. 1 to congratulate the young people volunteering to difficult and labor-consuming sectors.

Present at the meeting were Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and youth league officials and youth and students in the city. And the volunteering certificates were conferred on the volunteers and congratulatory and resolution-taking speeches were made.

Officials of the youth league and youth and students here saw off the volunteers.
