Young People in North Hwanghae Province Volunteer to Work in Difficult and Labour-Consuming Sectors of Socialist Construction

Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- Dozens of young people in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK volunteered to work in major sectors of the national economy in order to glorify their worthwhile life in the struggle to implement the resolutions of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 19th Enlarged Meeting of the Political Bureau of the 8th WPK Central Committee.

Discharged soldiers in Sariwon City and Unpha County volunteered to join construction brigades in the spirit of performing praiseworthy feats and becoming young heroes at regional and rural construction sites.

Young people in Songnim City signed their names on the list of the Kim Jin Youth Shock Brigade of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex.

Young people in Sinphyong, Koksan and Yonsan counties volunteered to work at the Songnam Youth Coal Mine under the Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex.

Youth league members in Sangwon and Singye counties became farmers, and those in Rinsan and Junghwa counties joined the ranks of the volunteers with their desire to translate the programme for the rural revolution in the new era into brilliant reality.

Officials and young people in the province saw off the volunteers, presenting bouquets to them.
