Ground-breaking Ceremony for Construction of Army-People Power Station Held in DPRK

| Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- Another army-people power station is to be built in Hoeyang County of Kangwon Province in the DPRK. A ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of Hoeyang Army-People Power Station No. 2 took place on Wednesday. Present at the ceremony were Kim Myong Guk, secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, builders and working people. Ju Mun Jin, chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, made an address to be followed by speeches. After the ceremony, there was the first blasting of the construction and excavators, shovellers and trucks started the project. |
