Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Greetings from Syrian President

| Pyongyang, February 14 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), received a message of greeting from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on Feb. 11. The message extended warm congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 82nd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il. Comrade Kim Jong Il safeguarded the DPRK, developed it into an invincible power unfazed by any challenge and championed the country's interests and dignity with his outstanding leadership, the message said. The Syrian Arab Republic values the historical relations of friendship with the DPRK and will boost them in keeping with the interests of both countries and wellbeing of their peoples, it stressed. |
