Meeting with Socialist Patriotic Young Vanguard in DPRK

Pyongyang, February 14 (KCNA) -- A meeting of youth and students with the socialist patriotic young vanguard took place at the Central Youth Hall of the DPRK on Feb. 13. Youth and students in Pyongyang Municipality were present there. The socialist patriotic young frontrunners made speeches at the meeting. They expressed deep thanks to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un for honoring them with the title of the socialist patriotic young vanguard although they merely did their jobs as the young vanguard of the new era. Kim Kwang Gun, a tunneling worker at the Hoean Youth Coal Mine under the Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex, said that the respected fatherly Marshal highly appreciated the deeds of the young miners who devoted themselves to their work, regardless of whether their feats are sung or unsung, so that they were noticed by the whole country. Jong Il Sim, a teacher at the Sungrisan Primary School in Tokchon City of South Phyongan Province, said that she gave piggybacks to a disabled pupil from home to school every day. Kim Kwang Chol, leader of a youth subworkteam at the Sinam Farm in Ryongchon County of North Phyongan Province, said that Chairman Kim Jong Il had a photo session with his youth subworkteam members when visiting them in July Juche 100 (2011). The audience was moved by the impressive deed of Pak Yun Gyong, a head nurse at the South Hwanghae Provincial General Hospital, who added to the true picture of the harmonious society of the DPRK by devoting herself to treating patients over the past ten years. Ri Hyang, a bulldozer driver under the Pyongyang Construction Commission, Ri Hyo Sim, a worker at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill, and other speakers vowed to add luster to their honor of being the frontrunners of the times by faithfully upholding the idea and leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal. |
