A vice general director of the General Political Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security of Laos said that the Workers' Party of Korea which was founded by President Kim Il Sung and demonstrated victory under the leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il is being further strengthened by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

He hoped that the good friendly relations with the long tradition would be immortal.

A member of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar Journalist Association said that on the Day of the Shining Star, he deeply realizes that the human history records a lot of great men but there is no such a peerlessly great man as HE Kim Jong Il who achieved the distinguished exploits.

Reporters and speakers including the chairman of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee said that Kim Jong Il had been boundlessly revered by the world progressive people as he achieved the great exploits in accomplishing the human cause of independence all his life.

The chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee lauded Kim Jong Il as the prominent state leader as he defended the sovereignty and dignity of socialist Korea with the treasured sword of Songun and firmly cemented the single-minded unity of the whole society. And he affirmed that the future of Korea is bright and rosy thanks to the outstanding and tested leadership of Kim Jong Un who has carried forward the idea and cause of Kim Jong Il.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting held in Switzerland.

Meetings were held by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the Arab－Korean Cooperation Council on February 5 and 7 on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star.
