Officials of Youth League Visit Chairman Kim Jong Il's Birthplace in Paektusan Secret Camp

Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- The expedition group made up of officials of the youth league from across the DPRK visited Chairman Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp on Friday. Looking up to Jong Il Peak, the members of the expedition group entered the holy place of the revolution with deep reverence. Officials of the youth league from across the country held a meeting at the plaza before the mosaic depicting the peerlessly great persons to pledge to accomplish through generations the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered on Mt Paektu under the leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un. Led by Pak Myong Jin, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, they pledged to always advance straight ahead, achieving great change and victory in the proud path of overall state prosperity, remaining faithful to the leadership of Kim Jong Un. After the meeting, they looked round historic relics preserved at the old home. Before the monument inscribed with the poem "Shining Star" written by President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il, wishing the bright future of Juche Korea, they meditated on the noble meaning of the poem. That day they toured the Sajabong Secret Camp. Being briefed on the revolutionary exploits of the President associated with the Sajabong Secret Camp, they went round the headquarters log cabin, publishing house, etc. They continue the study tour, recollecting the indomitable resistance history of the revolutionary forerunners. |
