Looking at "Mt Paektu, Sacred Mountain of Revolution, Kim Jong Il", an autographic writing of Chairman Kim Jong Il inscribed on Hyangdo Peak, they recalled the undying feats of the peerlessly great man who made sure that the precious tradition of the Korean youth movement is carried forward for all ages and trained the young people to be reliable successors to the revolutionary cause of Juche.

They shouted "Hurrah!", full of joy and excitement on the mountain associated with the history of sacred struggle of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in which the Korean revolution originated.

They sang songs with a firm determination to continue making a study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu, which helps harden the indomitable revolutionary faith and will, generation after generation.

Earlier, they visited the Samjiyon Grand Monument.

During the march to Mt Paektu, they held colorful political and cultural events including a question-and-answer study contest, a meeting to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas and a contest of singing revolutionary songs in chorus while marching in array.
