The non-permanent North Phyongan provincial committee for promoting the Regional Development 20×10 Policy has given priority to the organizational and political work to ensure that all cities and counties carry out the building of raw material bases according to a well-worked-out plan, while taking scientific measures to radically raise the output per jongbo (hectare).

Kusong City and Unsan and Kujang counties secured lots of self-sufficing manure under realistic production plans, and the workers of Sinuiju City and Yomju and Sonchon counties have made high results in preparing huminite and producing fermented manure.

The workers of Tongrim, Cholsan and Thaechon counties put primary efforts to producing organic fertilizers.

Other counties in the province, too, have carried out daily plans by rationally organizing labor and making effective use of different vehicles.
