The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un personally suggested building a sci-tech complex where everyone can learn to their hearts' content, and kept visiting its construction site to build it into a grand seat of learning for all the people.

It was on Feb. 26, Juche 104 (2015).

While touring the construction site, undaunted by the strong river wind that day, the General Secretary familiarized himself with the state of the building project, steps taken to supply materials and problems awaiting solution before giving valuable instructions.

Saying that the complex is a grand place of learning where all the ordinary people as well as scientists and technicians enjoy studying, he told the officials about the importance of the building project once again.

He called for simultaneously pushing ahead with the construction of the complex and the preparations for its operation. He provided concrete guidance over its operation including the issue of building up the database with the latest science and technology and ensuring the supply of best equipment and furnishings needed for e-reading service.

Thanks to his energetic guidance, the complex has turned into a grand seat of learning for all the people, a multi-functional center for sci-tech learning.

An increasing number of people visit the complex to gain vast knowledge day by day.
