Artistes of the National Folk Art Troupe, the National Theatrical Troupe and the National Acrobatic Troupe conducted performing activities at the Kaechon Area Coal Mining Complex to encourage its coal miners.

The achievements made by workers at the Jagang Provincial Supply Coal Mine and Kaechon, Pongchon and Sinrip coal mine in the drive for increased coal production are also associated with the efforts of those art troupes.

Artistes of the central art squad for increased production gave performances at Ryongdung, Ryongmun and Ryongsu coal mines of the Kujang Area Coal Mining Complex.

The workers' art group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea went to coal mines of the Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex to encourage coal miners.
