The WPK clearly indicated the orientation of advance for this year and is now wisely leading the struggle for its realization, the editorial says, and goes on:

Steadfast is the will of the Party Central Committee to bring about fresh victories and successes proving the dynamic advance of socialist construction and further accelerate the advance toward a powerful country by more vigorously launching the active and purposeful struggle for definite and rapid development of the regional economy and marked change in the living of regional people.

Today we are faced with the heavy yet honorable task for further heightening the offensive spirit on all fronts of socialist construction to ensure a clear practical guarantee for the implementation of the five-year plan.

Thanks to the outstanding idea and leadership of our Party and the great people filled with confidence in their strength and cause and extraordinary patriotic enthusiasm and strenuous spirit, this year's advance will be further accelerated and substantial and rapid changes and development made on all fronts of socialist construction.

The editorial calls upon all the people to make steady progress in all fields of socialist construction by devoting themselves to the successful implementation of the fighting programme of the WPK.
