Workers and technicians of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex have increased the production of Juche iron by improving the operation technology of newly-built oxygen heat blast furnace and raising the operating rate of equipment.

The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex and the Chollima Steel Complex have boosted production by shortening the melting time and carrying on the repair and maintenance of major equipment and production processes in a planned way.

February plans were carried out at many other industrial establishments, too.

Power stations across the country fulfilled their February production plans. Suphung, Hochongang, Sodusu and other power stations have carried out their daily production plans by putting the management of hydraulic structures and technical management of generators on a scientific basis.

Similar successes were also witnessed in coal, mining, building-material and light industrial sectors.
