People from all walks of life attended the candlelight rally under the theme of "Let's impeach Yoon Suk Yeol, puppet and schock brigade of war!"

The participants in the rally accused the U.S. of mulling igniting a nuclear war by bringing nuclear strategic weapons one after another to preserve its waning hegemony.

They pointed out that even U.S. experts on security acknowledged that the present situation is the most dangerous one ever since 1950.

They called for impeaching Yoon as early as possible to prevent war, stating that Yoon takes the lead in encouraging the hysteric war racket kicked off by the U.S.

The participants staged a demonstration, shouting slogans calling for Yoon's impeachment and holding posters such as the one reading "Let's prevent war through impeachment of Yoon!"

Earlier, a rally was held in Seoul to criticize puppet Yoon for his criminal acts of deteriorating people's living, distorting history, disturbing peace, etc.

On the same day, gatherings to punish puppet Yoon Suk Yeol were simultaneously held in Taegu, Pusan, Sejong, Kangwon Province, South Kyongsang Province, North Jolla Province, South Chungchong Province and other parts of puppet ROK.

Meanwhile, widespread mass anti-U.S. and anti-war struggle was launched to protest against the joint military drills of the U.S. and the puppet warmongers inviting nuclear disaster.

Organizations of various circles declared the period between March 4 and 30 as the anti-U.S. and anti-war struggle period and launched actions. And many organizations, including the Confederation of Trade Unions, the Solidarity for Progress and the Federation of Peasants Associations, have joined the struggle.

More than ten organizations held a rally outside the office of the puppet president in Seoul on March 9 to demand a halt to the ROK-U.S. joint military exercises for igniting a nuclear war.

A statement titled "Stop the ROK-U.S. joint military drills that will trigger off a nuclear war" was read out at the rally.

The statement said that a second war should be prevented from breaking out at any cost, adding that they can't sustain war disaster for the interests of the U.S. and the wild ambition of Yoon Suk Yeol. It stressed that the impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol is a pressing issue for preventing war.

In Taejon, too, civic organizations staged a demonstration, chanting slogans such as "We oppose war drills!"

Media said that members of organizations of various circles turned out in the struggle to oust Yoon Suk Yeol and the mass resistance for bringing him to justice will gain momentum.
