With a patriotic desire to spruce up the Pothong River to be paradise-like river for the people, servicepersons, officials and working people of ministries, national institutions and the municipality turned out as one to remove tens of thousands of cubic meters of mud from the riverbeds of over 3,000 meters in a short span of time.

Thanks to their devoted efforts, the ecological environment of the River Pothong is being further improved.
