Project for Regional Development Accelerated

Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- The non-permanent central committee for promoting Regional Development 20×10 Policy in the DPRK has scrupulously guided the work of the Sangwon Cement Complex, the Ministry of Railways and other sectors and units, which are in charge of the supply and transport of building materials for the construction of regional-industry factories, to make ensure that the materials produced are delivered to the sites in good time.

The Sangwon Cement Complex began to supply cement to the construction sites for regional-industry factories. Its officials and workers are keeping the cement production going at a high rate by introducing scientific and rational methods.

Officials and workers of cement factories in different parts of the country, including the Manpho August 2 Cement Factory, are striving to produce much more cement for the construction of regional-industry factories.

Officials and workers of forestry and mine timber production stations in Jagang, North Hamgyong and Kangwon provinces and other regions increased the log production and thus supplied thousands of cubic meters of logs needed for the construction of regional-industry factories in a short span of time.

People's committees in the relevant areas have taken measures to transport building materials to construction sites.
