National Seminar in Field of Railway Transport Held in DPRK

| Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- A national seminar in the railway transport sector of the DPRK took place at the IT Institute of the Ministry of Railways on March 13 and 14, under the sponsorship of the Korean Railway Transport Association of the C.C., General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea. The seminar, held on the theme of "Improving the technical condition of rolling-stock", was aimed at widely disseminating and generalizing the successes and experience which are conducive to accelerating the work to put the railway operation and management on a scientific basis. Present there were officials, scientists and technicians of the Railway Institute under the Ministry of Railways, Pyongyang University of Transport and other units. The seminar heard valuable proposals made by officials, scientists and technicians across the country. And there were speeches and a question-answer session. |
