Present there were Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee who doubles as chairman of the association, and members of the association.

Pak Kyong Il, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and vice-chairman of the association, made a report at the meeting.

The reporter referred to the work of the association which has contributed to developing the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries for the past one year.

The meeting discussed the diverse action program for this year marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries and conducted assignment of work for carrying it out.
