The finals between the DPRK and Japan teams took place on March 16.

DPRK players conceded one goal in the first 20 minutes of the game, but they managed to score two goals in 44 minutes and 86 minutes both from headings by player No. 13.

To recover the lost score, the opponent team attempted a full-scale attack, only to be repeatedly frustrated by the strong defence of our team.

The DPRK team beat its Japanese rival 2-1 and won the trophy and gold medals at the 2024 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup.

DPRK player Chae Un Yong was awarded the best player prize and Chae Un Gyong the best goalkeeper prize.
