DPRK Women Footballers Return Home

| Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- DPRK women footballers returned home on March 19 after demonstrating the dignity and honor of Juche Korea at the 2024 AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup. They came first in the games held in Uzbekistan from March 3 and were qualified for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, officials in the field of sports and sportspersons greeted the women footballers at Pyongyang International Airport. Sportspersons presented bouquets to the players and coaches. Many citizens waved their hands to the women footballers and coaches in streets of the capital city. |
