Attending the presentation, held on the theme of "Comprehensive rejuvenation and development by our own science and technology" to mark the 70th AUK founding anniversary, were officials, teachers, researchers and designers of Pyongyang University of Architecture, Pyongyang University of Transport, Hamhung University of Hydraulic Engineering, the South Phyongan Provincial Design Institute and other units.

Scientists and technologists in the field of construction presented more than 310 papers to the presentation.

There were speeches and a question-and-answer session on the issues arising in the fields of architecture, construction engineering, construction economy, building materials, land and environment protection and city management and new ideas and experience.

Highly appreciated at the presentation were such proposals as the estimation method of flood risks based on watershed survey, the research into the stability of steel arch structure for bridge decoration and the method of street formation by the combination of inclined terraced houses.

During the presentation, there were an introduction of experience gained in designing and a video show on the trend of construction.
