The battle site is associated with the footsteps of small-unit members and political operatives of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army, who aroused the people to the all-people resistance true to the Juche-oriented revolutionary line of President Kim Il Sung on actively preparing for the great event of national liberation.

This year, officials, working people, youth and students of many units in the municipality, including the Kaesong Municipal Trade Union Committee, the municipal committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, Koryo Songgyungwan University and Songdo University of Education, made study tours of the revolutionary battle site.

During the study tour, there were such events as a meeting for hearing impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas and a contest of singing revolutionary songs in chorus while marching in array. They served as an occasion of implanting into the visitors the noble sacrificing spirit for the revolution and country and the ardent patriotism.

Through the study tour, its participants hardened their will to vigorously struggle for the victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered in Mt Paektu while keeping their revolutionary faith under any adversity and trials.
