Tideland Reclamation Accelerated in DPRK

| Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- The North Phyongan Provincial Tideland Reclamation General Enterprise in the DPRK steps up the cofferdam project in the first district of Aedo Tideland, the first-stage embankment project for river and regulating pond in Honggondo Tideland and the embankment project for Woldo Tideland. When the projects are successfully carried out, thousands of hectares of new land will be created and a guarantee provided for ensuring the safe farming in the already-reclaimed tidelands. Officials and builders of the enterprise are now conducting a mass technological innovation movement while introducing advanced building methods. |
