The ministry has set a stepwise goal for successfully completing the construction of silo-type coal depots at different coal mines planned for this year.

Its officials are active at the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine and the Jenam Coal Mine to intensify the guidance work so that the coal mines can make full preparations for the foundation work according to the design.

At the Kaechon Coal Mine and the Hoean Youth Coal Mine, officials of the ministry are giving precedence to the supply of building materials such as cement and steel, while keeping in touch with relevant sectors so that they can start the project as soon as they finished technical preparations.
