The museum has 110-odd rooms housing tens of thousands of historical relics and data that show the revolutionary careers and exploits of the peerlessly great persons in a historical and comprehensive way.

The grandiose museum - the eternal treasure of the revolution - is associated with the leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who has worked heart and soul to glorify the history and traditions of the Korean revolution pioneered and advanced by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and to make sure that all the people invariably succeed to the blood of Paektu.

The General Secretary personally initiated the reconstruction of the museum to turn it into top-notch one without a parallel in the world. He also guided its layout and exhibition several times and solved all problems arising in the reconstruction project.

When he visited the remodeled museum in March Juche 106 (2017), he said it was a significant historic event that the museum was successfully reconstructed into a grand seat for education in revolutionary traditions at a time when the gigantic advance of the Juche revolution was dynamically accelerated.

Stressing the need to strengthen education through the museum, he said it was of great historic significance in carrying forward the lifeline of the revolution that the museum was newly rebuilt and inaugurated at a time when the generation of the revolution was replaced. And he said that the event evidently proved how much the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) values the education in the revolutionary traditions.

Since the reopening of the museum, numerous officials, workers from all walks of life, youth and students and service personnel have visited it to vow to defend and glorify the achievements of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who led the Korean revolution to victory and to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche generation after generation, rallied close around Kim Jong Un.

Today the Korean Revolution Museum is shining as an immense edifice for education in revolutionary traditions, which implants the glorious revolutionary traditions of the WPK into the minds of all the people and positively encourages them to the struggle for carrying forward to completion the revolutionary cause of Juche.
