In the seat village of the Kumdae Farm under the Pyongyang Municipal Rural Economy Committee, its residents have planted trees of good species and grass in and around their houses to show the scenes of the modern socialist countryside.

Officials and agricultural workers of the Sosin Vegetable Farm in Ryokpho District and other farms in Pyongyang Municipality planted many fruit trees and flower shrubs in the residential areas to add beauty to the newly-built villages.

Those at the Phungthan Farm in Sunchon City and the Jasan Farm in Phyongsong City of South Phyongan Province planted a large number of trees with the consciousness of being the owners of the new houses and patriotism.

Such landscaping campaign was witnessed in Myonggo-ri of Thongchon County and other areas and units in Kangwon Province and at farms in North Hwanghae and North Hamgyong provinces and Nampho Municipality.
