The Ministry of Public Health organized a first-aid lecture for health workers from all provinces at the first-aid control center of the South Hamgyong Provincial General Hospital. The main aim of the lecture was to help the provincial, city and county hospitals and terminal preventive and curative medical institutions give more rapid and correct first-aid.

A well-regulated system of ensuring unified organization and guidance on the medical service is being established along with the formation of first-aid network at all medical institutions from central hospitals to terminal preventive and curative units based on the first-aid control center. In this regard, technical preparations for the first-aid system were made and a technical training course given to standardize the contents and methods of its work.

The experience gained in the first-aid was also made public.
