The resort called as the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort is a comprehensive and modern service centre for the people built under the energetic guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

The respected General Secretary mapped out a plan to build the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort into a cultural recreation ground for the people to be impeccable even in the distant future and formed a powerful construction force. He visited the construction site several times to make sure that the designing and construction were carried out on the highest qualitative level in conformity with the aspiration, demand and aesthetic feelings of the Korean people and the world trend.

One day in April Juche 108 (2019), he visited the construction site and made a detailed tour of the sites after receiving a report on the project.

After learning about the winter climate of the area repeatedly, he advanced the task and orientation for building a ski resort to a relevant field. He stressed the need to speed up the construction so that the hot spring resort and ski resort could be operated from that winter.

The hotels built in an elegant way in an excellent place and the breezeway leading to the hot spring bath, not to know coldness in the middle of winter, are associated with the warm care of Kim Jong Un who made the people not feel any inconvenience.

He proposed the construction of a new riding park for the people, thus turning the resort into a multi-functional sports and cultural complex for the people.

The resort is a peculiar base for the people's cultural and emotional life built thanks to the noble intention of the respected General Secretary who is devoting himself to providing the people with a new civilization.
